MINIMUM CAPITAL AMOUNT ARE INCREASED IN JOINT STOCK AND LIMITED COMPANIES

In accordance with the Presidential Decree No. 7887 published in the Official Gazette No. 32380 dated 25/11/2023, the minimum capital amounts of joint stock and limited companies regulated in the Turkish Commercial Code have been increased, effective as of January 1of 2024.

Minimum capital amount in accordance with the relevant decision;
 
From 50,000 Turkish Liras to 250,000 Turkish Liras in joint stock companies,
From 10,000 Turkish Liras to 50,000 Turkish Liras in Limited Companies,
 
It has been upgraded.
 
For non-public joint stock companies that accept the registered capital system, the initial capital will not be less than 500,000 Turkish Liras.
 
The amounts in question will be applied to newly established joint stock and limited companies after January 1, 2024. Existing companies whose capital is below the specified amounts are not obliged to increase their capital at this stage.
