He participated in the YOREX, Local Products Fair held in Antalya between 2-5 November, together with Akşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Akşehir Municipality, Akşehir Commodity Exchange and Akşehir Chamber of Agriculture. Within the scope of the fair, local flavors of Akşehir were introduced to visitors from all over Turkey.

Local Products Fair (YÖREX), organized by Antalya Commodity Exchange with the support of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), was opened at ANFAŞ Fair Center. At the stand where Akşehir was promoted at YÖREX, which opened its doors for the 12th time this year, those who wanted to take photos with Nasreddin Hodja, the center of attention of local and foreign visitors, competed with each other.

Akşehir Mayor Salih Akkaya, Akşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ender Kalkan and Board Members, Akşehir Commodity Exchange President Mustafa Doğru and Board Members, Municipal Council Members, political party representatives; Akşehir welcomed the guests who came to the fair at its stand.

While Nasreddin Hodja, the representative of Akşehir, was taking photos with the visitors, Akşehir's geographically indicated delicacies; Cheese baklava, tandoori kebab, herse and cherry delight were served. The stand also featured dried fruit chips from the Women Entrepreneurs Cooperative, which was established in partnership with Akşehir Municipality and Mevlana Development Agency to enable women to participate in business life. Products made from red processed fruits and halva varieties produced by members of Akşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry were also served.

Our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ender Kalkan, said in his statement; “We hosted our guests who visited our stand together with our Board of Directors and Assembly Members. In addition to presenting our regional and geographically marked products, we also introduced our culture.

Our Mayor, Dr., who made every contribution in unity and solidarity to the promotion of Akşehir. Salih Akkaya, Commodity Exchange Chairman of the Board of Directors Mustafa Doğru, Chamber of Agriculture Chairman Fahri Küçükpolat, Akşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board Members and Council Members who did not leave our stand empty during the fair, and our Chamber Staff who hosted the guests at the fair in the best possible way.
