NASRETTİN HOCA VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL WAS INCLUDED IN THE VOCATIONAL EDUCATION COOPERATION PROTOCOL

In his statements, Ender Kalkan, Chairman of the Board of Akşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry;

“Within the scope of the project jointly signed by the Ministry of National Education, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Nasrettin Hoca Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School was one of the project schools among the Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools across Turkey. We are happy to include Nasrettin Hoca Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School from Akşehir as a result of intense efforts in the cooperation protocol planned in 81 provinces.

Vocational education is the basis of domestic and national production, which is one of the most important elements of development. Because the qualified workforce that will ensure domestic and national production can only be achieved with a qualified education system and quality vocational training. With this vision, TOBB and Chamber-Exchange support vocational education for their members to reach qualified human resources. Based on this understanding, the Ministry of National Education is working to create a quality and need-oriented education system and thus to provide qualified workforce that will strengthen our country's production power. In this context, special importance is given to vocational high schools, especially within vocational education.

Thanks to the Vocational Education Cooperation Protocol signed in 2019 between the Ministry of National Education (MEB), the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETÜ); An important step was taken in terms of harmonizing vocational education and the real sector. With the protocol, "Common work will be ensured between TOBB-affiliated Chambers/Commodity Exchanges and vocational training centers across the country in order to ensure coordination of the education system with the developments in the sector, to meet the need for qualified human resources needed by the sector and to contribute to employment." said.

Akşehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Ender Kalkan continued his statements; Nasrettin Hoca expressed his gratitude to our Regional Deputy Orhan Erdem and District Director of National Education Barbaros Topaloğlu, who contributed to the inclusion of Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School within the scope of the protocol.

Akşehir District Director of National Education Barbaros Topaloğlu; “Akşehir Nasrettin Hoca Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School will be equipped, supported and provided with training material support, based on new technologies, with this important protocol. Curriculum and educational materials will be updated, and in-service training, on-the-job training and distance education activities will be planned for administrators and teachers.
